About Symbols

What is a symbol?

A symbol is a visual way of representing an idea, intention or emotion.

Throughout history, people have used symbols to express beliefs, values and meaning. Some people refer to intention-based symbols as sigils.

My designs are modern geometric symbols inspired by traditional sigil design and symbolic art. Each one begins with a specific intention, such as protection, confidence or calm, and is hand drawn into a unique piece of minimalist artwork.

Whether you see them as meaningful art, personal reminders or spiritual tools is entirely up to you.

Do I have to believe in magic?

Not at all.

Some people connect with symbols spiritually, while others simply enjoy their meaning or design.

I don't believe a symbol changes your life on its own. Instead, I see symbols as visual reminders of intentions you've already chosen.

Just as a wedding ring represents commitment or a national flag represents identity, a meaningful symbol can help bring your attention back to something important.

Are your symbols religious?

No.

My symbols aren't connected to any religion or belief system.

People from many different backgrounds enjoy them for different reasons. Some appreciate the symbolism, others the artwork, and some simply enjoy having a meaningful reminder of qualities they'd like to cultivate.

Can anyone wear them?

Absolutely.

You don't need any particular beliefs or experience to enjoy symbolic art.

If a design resonates with you, that's all that matters.

How are your symbols created?

Every symbol begins with an intention.

From there, I use traditional symbolic design methods alongside my own creative process to develop an original geometric design. Each piece is carefully refined by hand before becoming part of a collection.

Every symbol is unique and created with thought and intention.

Why do you draw everything by hand?

Because the process matters to me.

Drawing each symbol by hand allows me to refine every line, proportion and balance until it feels complete.

It's a slower process than generating artwork automatically, but I believe it creates designs with far more character and authenticity.

Can I request a custom symbol?

Absolutely.

I love creating custom symbols that are unique to the person, business or intention they're designed for.

Whether you're looking for a personal symbol to represent something meaningful in your own life or a symbolic logo for your business, I can create an original hand-drawn design that reflects your intention.

If you're interested in commissioning a custom symbol, simply get in touch and we can discuss your ideas.

Do the symbols have fixed meanings?

Each symbol begins with a specific intention.

However, symbols are personal.

You may connect with a design in a completely different way to someone else, and that's one of the things I love most about symbolic art.

The meaning I give a symbol is where it begins. The meaning you discover is where your story starts.

Can your symbols be used as logos?

Not usually—but they certainly can become one.

Most of the symbols in my collections are created as pieces of symbolic artwork that represent ideas such as protection, confidence, calm or self-love.

However, I also design custom symbols for businesses. These can be used as logos or brand marks that visually represent your company's values, mission or intention.

Rather than simply identifying a business, a symbolic logo can reinforce the message and purpose behind it every time someone visits your website, opens an email or sees your branding.

I think a logo can do more than identify a business—it can tell its story.

Why geometric symbols?

I've always been drawn to geometry because it creates balance, harmony and simplicity.

Geometric shapes can communicate complex ideas without using words, making them perfect for symbolic design.

Their minimalist style also makes them easy to wear and display while allowing each person to connect with them in their own way.

Do symbols really work?

That depends on what you mean by "work."

I don't believe a symbol changes your life on its own.

What a symbol can do is act as a powerful reminder of an intention you've already chosen. Seeing it regularly can help bring your attention back to qualities like confidence, calm or resilience.

For some people, symbols are spiritual. For others, they're psychological. For many, they're simply meaningful art.

However you choose to use them, the meaning comes from the connection you create with the symbol.

Every intention becomes a symbol.
